I’ve always known I’ll be on a TV reality show. If that happened, it definitely wont be something substandard, I told my wife. It had to be a reality show top brands and celebrities would readily identify with. I hugged my wife and exchanged the usual “see you” things and left home to be a part of my first ever appearance and experience on a TV reality show.
14 weeks without phones or outside contact (chai!!!) in the house but access to the best of music tutors and coaches, that’s what #Hymnodia promises besides the 5 million Naira Cash, a brand new car and an Asaph. Who wouldn’t want that? This is Season 2 just to be sure. On entering the house, I was given a compulsory tour around the entire building I’ll be spending sometime in…the sitting room, lounge area, gym, two libraries, rehearsal room and yes, the bedrooms, oh my gosh and the place they fittingly call “the wilderness!!!!” I couldn’t wait to get back to the sitting area where 15 finalists waited to hear me speak on SPIRITUAL INTELLIGENCE & VALUE CREATION.
The next 2 hours with participants drawn from all parts of the country and a larger lay of Christian denominations opened my eyes to the real meaning of UNIFICATION OF FAITH. Anglicans, Catholics, Adventists, Protestants (both extreme and moderate) opened their mouths to sing HYMNS which is the whole idea behind HYMNODIA – to preserve the hymn culture and help a a new generation give life to their personal compositions even as Christ is entrenched in it all. Indeed, it is the ART OF WORSHIP.
I had enough goose pimples to last me a year!!! Please go check online for videos
I’ve heard people say the reality shows on TV are too X-rated. Others have wondered why people cannot just create “cleaner content”. It’s easier to criticize than create. You and I know that many who criticize these contents publicly, follow it privately. So when I saw a clean content (no nudes, fondling, bang****) yet highly entertaining and informative, I said to myself, I have to be a part of this movement. Thank God I made it a responsibility. A TV station decided to be a part of this Season 2 because they saw the post I made in Season 1. Talk about spreading THE WORD!
