After the thrills and twists of Stanza 6 of the on-going Hymnodia season2, the triple E ( Edification, Education and Entertainment) reality show built around hymns, the hymn-loving public is in for another stanza of exhilarating renditions on the stage of Hymnodia Season 2 come this Sunday.

This Stanza is on Original compositions and the theme is ‘A Prayer for the World’.

Hymntestants are to write, put tunes to and render their own original compositions.

The faculty had tasked the hymntestants to compose a hymn drawing from the scripture, on the theme for the week using either the iambic or trochaic metre. The hymn so composed should have a hint of God’s judgement but should not be judgemental. As tedious a task as it sounds to the uninitiated, the hymntestants have been, not only initiated, but well-tutored to carry out these instructions to the letter. The result, therefore, is ten (10) original hymns of prayer from freshly-minted hymn writers.

This Sunday, these new hymns shall be brought to living rooms across the world.

Hymnodia, is a wholesome TV reality show which is fast gathering fans, viewers across various strata and sections of the world.
